Soap and Detergent Industry The different types of Calcium Carbonates and Soap Stone manufactured by KANDHARI MINERALS are utilized as mineral fillers in order to obtain high humidity retention, to improve the consistency and dryness of the final mass, to better the exterior aspect of the soaps, and control its final weight. Furthermore, they do not alter neither the physical nor the chemical properties of soap products, nor the viscosity of the mix. They help to improve the cleaning action of soaps and detergents due to an adequate grade of abrasiveness. They are not retained by the textile fibers or damage the fabrics, since they do not contain silica in a free stage. They are also used as secondary pigments.
Calcium Carbonates made by KANDHARI MINERALS provide a greater covering strength, thus increasing the performance of high quality paints, oil synthetic and other coatings. The excellent whiteness of our carbonates avoid interference with the paint’s colors, they contribute to their opacity and that the paint will cover, without dripping, the surfaces. Rubber Industry Soap Stone made by KANDHARI MINERALS are used in the production of natural and synthetic rubbers, maintaining their flexibility, increasing their resistance to torsion and traction, improving their mechanic and electric characteristics thus reducing cost. Our Carbonates diminish rubber aging, material fatigue, do not change their external aspect, do not induce heat and avoid ruptures. Their consistency and high chemical purity enables the mineral fillers made by KANDHARI MINERALS to be employed independently or mixed up, depending upon the resin formulation and the customers’ need.
